The university has two campuses in the Atlanta metropolitan area, one in Kennesaw and the other in Marietta, on a combined 581 acres (235 ha) of land. The campus in Marietta occupies about 230 acres, while the Kennesaw campus occupies the remaining area. The Kennesaw campus is located adjacent to I-75, and offers views of the campus from the highway. The Social Sciences building is located on the west section of the campus, adjacent to the original campus historical district.
