There are two types of transcripts that can be sent to UMass Amherst: official transcripts and unofficial transcripts. Official transcripts are produced by the University Registrar and can be ordered for electronic delivery, via mail, or for pickup on the UMass Amherst campus. Current students can order their official transcripts to be mailed to an international location outside of UMass Amherst through Parchment Services via their SPIRE account. Former students can use Parchment Services or the On-Campus Transcript Request Form to have their official transcript mailed to an international location. Official transcripts are produced by the University Registrar and bear the University seal and the Registrar's signature. They are generally required for official purposes and admissions finalization.
Current students at UMass Amherst who need their official transcript mailed to an international location outside of UMass Amherst must order through Parchment Services via their SPIRE account.
