The University of Oregon holds its graduation ceremonies in June. Students must apply to graduate to complete their degree, and they can do so up to a year in advance of their graduating term. Students must apply to graduate
At the University of Oregon, students must apply to graduate to complete their degree. The deadline to apply for graduation in DuckWeb for the current term is midnight on Sunday after the fourth week of classes. Students can apply for graduation up to one year in advance of their graduating term and are encouraged to apply as soon as they've confirmed their graduation eligibility with their academic advisor.
When applying to graduate, students must select the term in which all their degree requirements will be completed. Students do not need to apply to graduate for the spring term to "walk" in the spring commencement ceremony. The application to graduate is available in DuckWeb through the student menu.
Students can decide how their name will be displayed on their diploma when they apply for graduation. If a student needs to change their name on their diploma, they can use the Change to Graduation Application form.
If a student has applied for graduation in a term that is sooner or later than when their requirements will be met, they can use the Change to Graduation Application form to request to pull or cancel their current graduation application. The last day to request a late degree application is the Friday of the first week of the following term.

The University of Oregon's Commencement Ceremony is a chance for graduates, their guests, and the university community to come together and celebrate the achievements of students.
