Returning students move in on 12 September 2025
Returning students to Northwestern University can start moving in at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, 12 September 2025. Unlike new students, returning students do not need to sign up for move-in appointments. They also do not need unloading permits. However, returning students are asked to move their vehicles away from their building after unloading so that other students can unload.
To check in, returning students must complete an online self-check-in form. They can then head to their room and tap their card on the reader once.
