Mercer University Mail: Student Box Access And Information

Mercer University provides all its students with a campus mailbox to receive postal and campus mail. To find out your Mercer University box number, you can contact Mail Services located in the University Center. Your MU Box number will also be available on your MyMercer account by clicking on My Profile > My Information > Addresses. You can access your MyMercer account by logging in with your Mercer ID number and the password provided by the IT Help Desk or Admissions department.

Log in to the MyMercer portal

Logging in to the MyMercer portal gives students access to a variety of resources, including personal information, student records, registration, and financial planning resources. It is important that students learn to navigate these resources as they become some of the primary methods of communication with faculty, staff, and the institution as a whole.

To log in to the MyMercer portal, follow these steps:

• Click on the Login button and select the Student Portal Homepage.
• Enter your Mercer University ID (MUID) number in the Username field. This should be a series of numbers, for example, 10234567.
• Enter the password provided by the IT Help Desk via email or your Admissions department.

You can change your MyMercer password via Mercer's password self-service site. First, log in and provide answers to two security questions. Once your account is set up, you will be able to change or reset your password. Please note that changing your MyMercer password will also change your password for your Mercer email, the wireless network, and on-campus computers.

Find your Mercer email address

To find your Mercer email address, follow these steps:

• Log in to MyMercer: https://my.mercer.edu.
• Select 'My Profile' and then 'My Information' from the menu on the left-hand side of the homepage.
• Your Mercer email address is listed in your personal information.

Your Mercer email address is your Mercer University ID number followed by @live.mercer.edu. For example, if your ID number is 12345678, your email address will be 12345678@live.mercer.edu.

You can access your Mercer email account via the Internet or on a mobile device. Visit the Microsoft 365 sign-in page: https://www.office.com. Enter your Mercer email address and password to sign in.

You can also access your Mercer email account via MyMercer. Select 'External Links' and then 'Mercer Email' from the menu on the left-hand side of your MyMercer homepage. Click the 'Mercer Email' link provided, and enter your Mercer username and password to sign in.

Contact Mail Services

The Student Post Office and Mail Services Center is located in the University Center. Here, you can access retail mail services, as well as the Mail Kiosk for package pickup. Mail is taken to the post office daily at 3 pm, and inter-campus mail is delivered and collected between 10:30 am and 1 pm.

If you are a student and you have mail to pick up, you will receive an email notification. When you arrive at the Mail and Document Services Office, scan your Bear Card in the Pick-up Kiosk and then proceed to the counter. The mail center staff will retrieve your mail and deliver it to you.

Pick up mail at the University Center

To pick up mail at the University Center, follow these steps:

First, you need to find out your Mercer University box number. To do this, log in to the MyMercer student self-service portal. Here, you can access your personal information, student records, registration, and financial planning resources. Your Mercer University email address can also be found here. To locate your MU Box number, click on "My Profile", then "My Information", and then "Addresses". Your MU Box number will be listed under your "Mercer University Campus Address".

Once you know your MU Box number, you can head to the University Center to pick up your mail. The Student Post Office is located here, offering retail mail services and a Mail Kiosk for package pickup. When you arrive at the Mail and Document Services Office, scan your Bear Card in the Pick-up Kiosk and then proceed to the counter. You will be notified via your Mercer email address when a package arrives that requires a signature. Bring your Student ID to the kiosk, swipe your card, and then enter the queue line to receive your package.

The Mail and Document Services Center is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Mail is taken to the post office daily at 3 pm, and inter-campus mail is delivered and collected between 10:30 am and 1 pm.

View your MU Box on MyMercer

To view your MU Box on MyMercer, follow these steps:

First, log in to your MyMercer account. To do this, visit the MyMercer sign-in page at https://my.mercer.edu. Click on the Login button and select the Student Portal Homepage. Enter your Mercer University ID (MUID) number as your username (e.g. 10234567) and the password provided by the IT Help Desk or Admissions department.

Once you have logged in, locate and click on the "My Profile" tile on your MyMercer homepage. From the menu on the left-hand side of the page, select "My Information". Here, you will be able to view your Mercer email address and other personal information. To find your MU Box number, scroll down to the "Addresses" section and look for the "Mercer University Campus Address" information. Your MU Box number will be displayed here.

It is important to note that changing your MyMercer password will also change your password for your Mercer email, the wireless network, and on-campus computers. To change your password, log in to Mercer's password self-service site at https://pwhelp.mercer.edu. Click on the "Change Password" tab, enter your old and new passwords, confirm the new password, and click OK. Your new password will become effective immediately.
