Step 1: Complete the Application Form

You can either use the Common App or Ohio University's alternate online application. If you are unable to complete your application online, you can print and mail the alternative printable application form that corresponds to the academic year for which you are applying.

Step 2: Submit the International Application Fee

You must submit a USD $70 international application fee for your application to be considered.

Step 3: Submit Academic Records

First-year applicants must submit records from every secondary institution attended. If the original document is not in English, a certified or attested English translation must also be provided. Transfer applicants must provide an original course-by-course transcript evaluation conducted by a NACES member evaluation agency for every post-secondary institution attended. All documents should be submitted via email to admissions@ohio.edu or sent via postal mail or courier.

Step 4: Send Official Proof of English Proficiency

All students seeking direct admission for full-time academic study must demonstrate English proficiency through exams taken no more than a year prior to the application. Accepted English proficiency exams include TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, SAT, and ACT.
