Accessing SHARC through the online chatroom

Resetting your Canvas or Student Portal password

To reset your password for the Independence University Student Portal, you must first go to the homepage of the Independence University website: https://my.independence.edu. Here, you will see options for the Student Portal and the Staff Portal. Click on the Student Portal option. This will take you to the student login page, where you will see a "Forgot Password?" link. Click on this, enter your login information, and request a password reset.

Depending on your institution, the login information required may vary. A notification will inform you that it may take up to 30 minutes to receive your password recovery instructions via email.
