Dropping classes

Students who wish to drop all their courses must notify a member of the Student Success Advising Team and the Office of the Registrar in writing of their intention. For courses with drop notifications received no later than the 7th calendar day of the term, there will be no transcript record of the class. For courses with withdrawal notifications received no later than the deadline noted in the academic calendar, a “W” grade for the course will be noted on the transcript. Students who withdraw after these deadlines will receive the grade the course instructor determines to be appropriate given the course requirements.
Students who are registered for a class have a specific period of time in which they can drop the class after it starts without being charged tuition for that course. Students can drop a course by accessing the Menu and selecting Registration, then selecting drop class, or by emailing their request to the advising team. Please note that no withdrawal requests can be taken over the phone – all registration adjustments must be submitted in writing to be processed.
