Using the National Student Clearinghouse to verify your enrollment
As of January 1, 2010, Howard University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide all enrollment and degree verifications. The NSC is able to verify enrollment for all students except for those with an outstanding financial obligation to the university.
To use the National Student Clearinghouse to verify your enrollment, you will need to provide the student’s name when enrolled, Social Security Number, and date of birth for identification purposes and enrollment verification. This information will be required whether you are requesting verification through the National Student Clearinghouse website or through BisonHub.
If you are requesting verification through the National Student Clearinghouse website, go to www.degreeverify.org. The Office of the Registrar no longer accepts third-party written requests for degree and/or enrollment verifications.
If you are requesting verification through BisonHub, you can generate, save, and print an enrollment verification directly from your computer. Please note that it may take up to five business days for the NSC to process the latest enrollment information.
